I can organize a schedule, manage systems, solve problems, and keep things running smoothly.
But when it comes to me: my voice, my direction, my calling, I often feel scattered, foggy, and unsure.
For a long time, I thought that meant something was wrong with me.
I believed clarity was something other people had.
That confidence came before action.
That if I were meant for something, it would feel obvious and easy.
It doesn’t.
What I’ve learned is this:
“It’s easier to organize systems than it is to organize identity.” ~Margaret J. Wheatley
Systems are external. Purpose is personal.
When the work involves your heart, your story, your creativity, it carries a different kind of weight. We’re not just choosing a direction, we’re protecting something meaningful from being rushed, hollow, or forced.
That doesn’t make us messy.
It makes us careful.
If you’re someone who shows up for everyone else with clarity and strength, but feels unsure when it’s time to show up for yourself, you’re not behind.
You’re under construction.
We don’t need a five-year plan.
We don’t need a polished brand.
We don’t need to have it all figured out before we begin.
We are allowed to become in stages.
If today all you can do is listen, reflect, and take one honest step forward, let that be enough.
We aren’t lost.
We’re listening.
And that matters more than you think.
If this met you where you are, I’m glad. And if not, thank you for being here anyway.
With love,
Mindy
